On the 13th Oct 2024 I hired the hall for a shok shaba at the cost of £450 of which was a £100 refundable deposit. The booking was made with Seemaben who happily took my money. At the time of booking Seemben advised me that the refund will take place 1 week after the event and a cheque will be posted to my home address in Birmingham. Today is now the 12th Nov 2024 & still no cheque so I called the mandir AGAIN, since the booking I've had to call 8 times (pic attached) and Seemaben answered. I questioned Seemaben as to why she had returned my called on 4th Nov as she promised me to call me back the following day once she had the cheque issued, but never did. I was rather annoyed and wanted to know why a simple thing was taking so long. Seemabens response was that I should contact the treasurer. Surely it is the responsibility of the mandir staff ie Seemaben, to be able to follow up such requests. Any how, what really annoyed me was the fact she put the phone down mid conversation. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I called back immediately & she didn't answer. Totally unprofessional. Seemaben is obviously not right for the job as she doesn't possess the correct abilities or attitude to be working with the public. I've now had to reach out to other mandirs in Birmingham to see if they can get me the contact details of the Sanatan mandir president so I can get this matter resolved and make a proper complaint against Seemaben, as she never keeps her word, is unable to process simple requests and rudely & unprofessionally puts the phone down on the patrons. It's hard to believe in today's world of email, WhatsApp etc that Seemaben couldn't simply message the treasurer with my details and amount and have him issue the cheque & put it in the post but instead Seemaben was making excuses everytime I called her and say the treasurer has come in or she's not been able to get hold of him. I have now had to ask my mother in law to pay Seemaben a visit to sort this mess out as she lives in Leicester. Considering she's just lost her daughter, I'd expect alot more compassion and understanding from the mandir. Seemaben will need every god in that place should i need to visit her regarding this matter!!!! Shocking!!!!!!!

This Temple Has To Be Seen Outside And Inside. It’s Constructed From Lime Stone And What A Beautiful It Is.

Came here for a wedding. Nice size hall on the first floor. Plenty of seats. Parking was a bit of an issue.

It's a lovely temple where you pray at your own leisure. You can talk to two Brahmans at anytime. Both Brahmans are very supportive and kind. Thank you.
