Regret taking a property with STAR housing. Worse decision we have ever made. Only upside is the area. POOR SERVICE and DO NOT respect their tenants. We had a flood from the bathroom into the kitchen after we moved in, due to the bath not being installed correctly by a workman (confirmed by gentleman who came to inspect and install PROPERLY). Flooded the kitchen and kitchen ceiling needed to be ripped down and re-plastered. This happened after we already decorated. Ceiling was plastered and left with a basic light handing from it, not smooth, holes around the edges and drip marks all over the walls, and left unpainted. STAR housing refuse to come back and paint the ceiling. This is only the last issue we have had since moving in. DISGUSTED AND APPALLED. Biggest regret for my family joining STAR housing. We feel dirty and cheated living here. Far too many issues to write them on here. I would NOT have chose STAR housing if I knew then what I know now. I recommend other housing associations but not this one.

Had the scaffolding bods at ours for the past 2 days and now cannot open our sons bedroom window because the scaffolding he's been put up so close to the window it now only opens 1 inch. This window is a means of escape in the event of a fire and as the boiler is in the same room I think that it is vital to have an escape route. Bloody fuming.
