Poor communication. Dreadful banding system. Bedroom eligibility criteria not fit for purpose. Unable to bid on what they say eligible for, because none of them are anywhere suitable suitable for family needs. List properties as eligible for 2-4 bedroom needs, but unable to bid because it's 3 bedrooms, which we need on medical grounds, however this not accepted by this council. Awful! No wonder most people are homeless.

Banding system is AWFUl. I should be on band 2 but instead on band 4. I have had repeated harrassment, stalking and my life has been hell resulting in PTSD after all the abuse I have done through, police have been involved and I still cannot get moved to somewhere safe for me and my children!

Still waiting for repairs after 7 years.. its apparently my fault because my phone won't allow spam callers, even though they have 3 contact numbers for me! I can only bid on 6 Houses on my homepoint and I've been trying to move for 8 of the years I've lived here..no help with moving, repair calls get ignored meanwhile they try and silicone and paint there way around a 150 year old estate... only gave a one star to complain about it.

So disappointed in customer care. Late last year our boiler burst resulting to our whole living room and kitchen flooding. Incident accrued at about 7 pm in the evening, it flooded so bad it triggered our electric to switch off and all of the fire alarm set off. I have children in the house and one of the five was a premature baby who at the time just turned 4months. We had to evacuate the house and stand outside because of how fast and bad the flooding was going. I rang the out of hours team so get some sort of help or support to that they told me that nothing could be done and help would take up to 3 hrs to getting to us. After so so many phone calls they were still no help, 3hrs after an electrician and gas man arrived by then the whole house had no electric and the flooding was still continuing...we were lucky we had a good neighbour who heard of our distress and offered us shelter and for the night. Next day star housing helped with couple of days in Bnb but no help with kids transport to school. Having to get up and getting to bus stop by 7.30, they eventually moved us into a temporary accommodation which was a 2 bed house. They had told me on the day before putting us in the bnb that I would be able to claim insurance for all the damage the boiler flood had done and they would be getting intouch for insurance claim. However within the month we stayed in temporary accommodation I had no contact about insurance and they had finished replastering the ceiling and wanted us to move back in straight away even though the living room had no carpet but they offered to put in cheap carpet and also "good will gesture" of a 50 quid paint voucher. The state of the house was wallpaper half ripped and no carpet ruined seetes ruined wooden blinds taken off amongst other items that were ruined. Coming up to Christmas I just couldn't believe they would try and move us back into our house with it half being down. I have 5 kids and i also run my own bussiness, I couldn't believe they were trying to give me 50 quid delux paint for redecoration? I asked them for insurance claim to that they said they still haven't got on top of that, eventually they sent a form and sent it to my old address which I don't have access to. It's been 2 months and they haven't contacted me about insurance claim and I had to call them several times to chase up what was going on. Upon returning my call they told me "Yes we have been trying to pull legal action cause you won't move back to your house" this is a 2 bed house and why they think I want to stay here instead of my 3 bed especially with 5 kids baffles me. I wanted them to atleast help me and assist me instead of trying to make things just worse for me and my children and patner who are very distressed having to stay in smaller accommodation . My housing officer who always sound manipulative and doesnt really sound like she wants to help, I asked about our insurance claim to that she answered "oh yes we are just trying to get some legal actions because we have asked you to move several times" I asked for insurance not to hear more distress about it all. I just want a good start to the year and start decoration so we can move back into our home!

Would be zero but I was feeling generous, called for emergency repair due to water pipe leaking and the call could not be connected, it appears that STaR have to only non contactable emergency call out department. I sincerely hope that they don't get the tenure again.

Rang on Monday to ask Star to cut the hedge fronting a small group of bungalows as full of brambles at face height. Tuesday all completed and cleaned up. Very well done for service.
