Had a wonderful experience. I was referred by my GP and they got in touch via post within a couple of weeks and I had a telephone assessment shortly after. The woman I spoke to was very kind and understanding and referred my case for more long term support. I found the call very helpful thank you

I had an assessment phone call a few weeks back and the woman was extremely patronising she only seemed to know the word “awwww”. She said she would speak to her supervisor to discuss a treatment plan and ring me back. I explained I cannot have my phone on me whilst at work so wouldn’t be able to answer and gave her times she could ring that I would be free to talk. She agreed to ring back on a certain day/time that suited us both and I sat waiting… nothing. A week later, she rang (whilst I was in work) and when I received the voicemail, I rang back only to be told I’d be discharged from the service as I hadn’t “engaged”. I explained to the woman I spoke to (very nice woman) the situation and gave her my email address as another form of contact as well as my phone. I have not heard anything back from this service. Where do we go from here? Another doctors appointments to receive a slip of paper with a reference number on (an appointment that could be used for somebody who actually needs to see a doctor?) Waiting weeks for another assessment from somebody who does not seem interested in anything I have to say or have any help/support at hand and has to speak to their supervisor? Another waiting game by the phone just incase they ring because if you miss that call, you’re disregarded? Shocking service considering you’re dealing with people who have poor mental health, you’d think you’d have a little more compassion and patience.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Got referred to this company 10 months ago and not a SINGLE THING HAS BEEN DONE IN THIS TIME!! Had 3 initial assessments and passed around to different staff and 0 treatment. Honestly appalling!!! Always move and cancel appointments around too. When you call them they either direct you to voicemail or offer no assistance - refuse to put you through to anyone past a receptionist who has no idea what they’re talking about and can offer no advice or explanation. They reassured me that I wouldn’t have to keep repeating the same process due to staff leaving the company yet keeps happening over and over again. Constant let downs, wouldn’t even bother adding to your stress..

Poor service. Arrange appointments and don't call.

Call with euthhet numbers they are blocked in most phones these days.

Call to speak to them and they fov you off and promise to call back.

They don't call back so your left running circles to try and get through.

Absolute desgrace looking at going private.

No wonder the nhs on its knees with services like this.

Absolute waste of time. The woman who called to assess me was so rude and didn’t seem interested in anything i had to say. She was condescending and made me feel uncomfortable, i don’t understand why some people who work in the mental health sector treat people so poorly and make them feel worse for feeling how they do.

From my own experience with Six Degrees, it has been nothing but a total waste of time and not helpful at all. And from all of the information that I have gathered, it looks like they selectively help others, as a friend of mine who's been having the same issue as myself said they've had a positive and a helpful experience with Six Degrees.

They make mistakes and ignore complaints..
Don't do anything to resolve the issue..Even claim they didn't work for them..But it's there in black and white..Half an apology 2 lines in medical notes does not count...The amount of trouble and stress they cause..
