Three weeks ago, I joined Wayne's class in Felinfoel, Llanelli. Wayne is simply a brilliant consultant. His classes are informative and realistic. About 45 of us stay for his class this morning , as they're SO upbeat. Thank you Wayne for your honest support.

Eventually I bucked up enough courage to join Borough Green ( Kent ) Slimming World. I needn’t have worried , the most genuine lovely leader Anita greeted me and a few other newbies, explained the programme and we got started. This concept takes a bit of getting used to but our lovely group leader Anita explained the programme very well and even reached out by text in between classes to encourage and support. This lady is a real caring treasure and so natural at this role. I feel that I am so lucky to be part of such a lovely local group and feel sure that this bit of magic will ensure I reach my goal.

I joined the Chesterfield Slimming World Group with my sister Christine Miller in the Spring of 2019. Our sister had recently died following a heart operation and we felt we both owed it to her to lose weight. We were very nervous but were greeted by Consultant Franca Yeomans whose warm welcome made us feel instantly at home. We have recently left SW having achieved our targets 6 stone for my sister Christine and have been target members for sometime. Franca Yeomans has been inspirational throughout our years with SW and is indeed a guru in our family . All family members having lost weight!
She continued to inspire members on line throughout the pandemic and was a huge support to many through this very difficult period . She manages to keep the meetings fresh and fun and full of new ideas and goes more than the extra mile to support those who are struggling . This must involve a lot of research and preparation for each meeting and has been very much appreciated. We wish to thank Franca for her dedication and to indeed thank SW for the magazine and the amazing SW App, particularly the ability to Food Search plus of course the many inspiring success stories.

I have been attending the 09.30 Southwater & Horsham SW Group in Horsham for some years, before during Covid, and have always enjoyed the group. Sarah Kewley was the consultant and when she, very sadly, left us to pursue another career, the amazing Sarah Cockerill took her place. How lucky were we? Sarah C is such an inspiration, cheering us on as we take the SW journey, never judges us when we hit a bump in the road but keeps us motivated with her wit and her wonderful sense of humour. I have been a member since Jan 2019, reaching my target in March 2020 just before I turned 50, having lost 4st 8lbs. I have an under active thyroid and had tried to diet at home myself and I was unsuccessful. My elder sister was a member at Slimming World and had done extremely well. She inspired me to give it an go. I was nervous about going to my local group for two reasons. One I thought I would know too many people. Secondly my consultant at the time was a man.🤦🏻 I had no reason to worry about either. I didn’t tell anyone apart from my husband I was joining. That way if I wasn’t successful it wouldn’t matter. I lost 6lbs in my first week. I didn’t look back, until covid hit.
I rejoined in 2022 having gained 2st. Unfortunately my old group was no longer running so I found a new group which was further away. Due to my new fitness and a fellow member, now a great friend we walk the 4 miles there and back during the summer months. Food optimising really works and I am close to target again. I have fully embraced body magic and loving every minute of it. Thank you Slimming World, big shout out to Sue my consultant at Merstham, Surrey xx

Made a serious complaint about one of their consultancy’s and they didn’t even bother getting back to me. Am now taking it up with the MD
