I've really enjoyed being at the Somer Centre. Twice our Church have hired out the main hall whilst having our Creative Space workshop; it's light, bright and airy. You are able to open the doors and can spill out into the green space next to the Town Park. The kitchen is situated in the middle of the centre and their are toilets available too. The space feels welcoming and friendly. I'd definitely highly recommend it.

Attended today for my vaccination, what can I say. Fantastic. The Doctors, nurses and volunteers made it a stress free visit. Arrived at 9am and (including my 15 minute post jab wait) was on my way home by 9.22am.

The Somer Centre is currently being used as a place for people (after notification) to receive a Covid 19 vaccination. The organisation is absolutely superb. Remember, these are all volunteers doing this; from the marshal outside who makes sure that you are on time, the people who check your identity and guide you to your slot to the (in my case) lady who administered my jab. Truly sensational👏👏❣

As a 'community centre' it's well named. Many community activities occur here; parties, receptions, sports activities (on the occasion of my visit, it was being used as the NHS older persons 'flu inoculation point for the area) If you're part of the neighbourhood and want a 'gathering this is the place to have it.

Pending the relaxation of the pandemic hysteria, of course.

Nice hall. Very accessible with good facilities. Plenty of parking but appears to be shared so hall users need to beware if a largish function.

Well use community centre, large light airy main room, plenty of free parking, disabled parking and entrance. Toilets for all. Often used to give blood.
