Absolutely fantastic venue, first time coming here for a 70th birthday party. The venue itself had a real 70s vibe to it . Perfect. Reasonably priced bar with friendly staff.

Bought 2 drinks, charged £10.70. Then bought the same 2 drink and was told £14,40, to which I quireed, only to be told the actual price is £8,95. I then went back to the bar at the quiet end to query it and had money thrown on the bar to be told by the woman who over charged me in the 1st place, that she has only given my money back due to my attitude.. I could have made a scene but didn't, and I got treated like dirt. Was gong to become a member, but will definitely not now.

A surprisingly large and well maintained club.
Like most clubs of their ilk, the clientele are drawn there for a variety of reasons. If you 're in a band playing there (like I was) you may find the audience a little indifferent to your efforts - but such is the nature of (formerly) Working Men's Clubs. Having said that, this is a good one - let down only by the very meagre local parking.
