Upon visiting Zippys play centre next door to Space this morning, I was horrified to witness a young child (under 4) exit from a fire exit at Space. This child closed the fire door, was running around the car park unattended with no shoes or socks on. He then proceeded to leave the carpark and run out towards the busy road on his own. I was able to shout over to him and thankfully he came to me. He looked scared to death. He wanted me to pick him up. Which I did. I took him back to Space, the staff members firstly hadn't realised he had got out and secondly didn't know how he got out. I explained what I'd seen and what happened. They then marched the little boy inside and stated the door should have been alarmed so he shouldn't have been able to leave undetected. I'm just horrified... it has made me very emotional to think what could have happened to him. He could have been run over or kidnapped and no-one knew where he was. Parents leave their children with the knowledge they are safe and looked after. This has made me very anxious about using these type of services and I certainly wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone!

Highly reccomended SPACE for families with children with disabilities or complex needs. I have so much gratitude for thos place I can't even put into words.

Such a fab place to bring my daughter who has cerebral palsy. It’s so accessible and the different rooms are great. My daughter loves the crafts room which also has a wonderful play kitchen and dressing up box. Staff are amazing with the kids too!! Also love the cafe - the donuts are so tasty.

This is an amazing local charity providing support to families with children with all kinds of disabilities. They have a play Centre which is amazing for children. Staff very supportive and friendly too!

Amazing little play centre for children with additional needs. Need to book in advance but so worth it. My 6 year old loves it there
