Terrible experience with customer support. Asked for help with damaged item 4 times and been promised to get a call back. Tried ringing today 22.10.24 and got phone hung up on me.

One of the most ignorant managers I’ve come across she thinks she’s saving the company money but she’s loosing valuable customers hence all the bad reviews. We came in to discuss an issue with an item in hopes of a replacement, we had clear evidence of the malfunction but still point blank refused to even listen, her only response was speak to the manufacturer directly and they will help. We went over to a different Argos and was met with a really helpful and professional team who looked at the evidence and the problem and processed it right there and then, unfortunately we decided to op for a refund and purchased elsewhere. It’s a shame Argos let people like that be the face of the company.

I attempted to return a faulty item. The manager was extremely rude. She immediately had an attitude even before I could explain the fault with the item. Very bad attitude and did not help with my return. I will stop using Argos

I attempted to return oversized headphones that I couldn't use, however Maddi treated me unprofessionally and rudely, displaying a lack of helpfulness. The overall customer service experience was disappointing. Reviews had hinted at this, and even the manager, Shell, was unhelpful. While I acknowledge Argos policies, it shouldn't justify rude and dismissive treatment of customers.

Very rude manger I tried to use my love to shop card to buy a gift card and the manger told me that they can't do that in a stern and harsh full way when I went there the week before and another member of staff allowed it!

Absolutely shocking service. Marie was rude, unhelpful and was doing everything in her power to make things difficult.
I purchased a Bush TV a few days ago, I set it up at home and noticed when using apps such as Netflix/Youtube, there is a big white mark that goes across the screen. The next day, i took the TV to the Spalding store to ask for a return of refund. They switched the TV on, couldn't see the mark so boxed it back up and gave it back to me. I explained that the mark only appeared when watching the TV, it doesn't appear on the home screen. Marie flat out refused to load any of the apps and forced us to take back the TV. So I am stuck with a faulty £300 TV. Seen lots of reviews saying how poor the customer service and I cant say I'm surprised. The other staff members were very friendly so if you go to the Spalding store and see the name Marie, walk out and go back in another time when she is not working.

Brought a product in and was refused a refund, which would have been fine if the staff weren't so rude to me. The manager was snappy with me and kept interrupting me while I was talking. As I turned to leave the store, I could hear her making fun of me to her colleagues. Looking at the other reviews on here, it seems that the staff here are rude to everybody, I can't believe a reputable company like Argos would allow this unprofessional behaviour to continue unchecked. Stay away from this store!

I have been argos customer for years.
I never had any issues.
But last couple of weeks I have been having very unpleasant service and bad attitude.
Trying to return drill which I bought. They refused to refund and asked me to deal with manufactory which I did.
They sended back to me and told me I should be able to return.
Again They refused. And asked me to get reference number from manufactory which I did today and went to argos. Woman was there with very unfriendly face and refused to refund.
PS. I feel been treated very bad and discriminated.
I will never ever walk in the shop again.
Therefore I have decided to contact Lincolnshire trading standards and citizen advice bureau.
