Beautiful church was gutted it was closed as there are relics from the Chapel dated before 1066 inside that we would of like to have seen. So much history surrounding this place such as two battles during the civil war and Sir Francis Drake marrying Mary Newman here

The people that go here are warm , friendly and very pleasant. They do so much in the way of helping the community, food larder Thursday, warm welcome on wednesdays, bible studies Thursday afternoon etc. They even have a barn dance in the summer.
You would be made very welcome if you visited

Great history, ordained by Bishop Courtney for the parish of St Budoc. Sir Francis Drake married Mary here. The church is very special & much loved. The quatrfoils are of the Mayflower. Grenville held out in the former church located at Budshead Manor during the civil war. Very special & much loved.đŸĨ

This was a most remarkable and quaint little church. Thanks to our wonderful guide, Mr Keith Black, we were enlightened about its history, and that among other things it was here that Sir Francis Drake married his wife, Mary Newman back in 1569. Our whole experience of Cornwall and Devon was fantastic thanks to the Kooky Cotswold Tours and their remarkably knowledgeable guide, Mr Keith Black. The lovely little church at St Budeaux was just one terrific experience out of many. We are most grateful.

My wife and I love the welcome you receive at St Budeaux. You feel like the minister and people there really care about you.
It's really great how they have a missional focus that looks beyond the walls of the church and beyond Sundays.

A lovely caring, and lively church, a mix of age groups. Has youth groups as well as plenty of other activities going on for all ages/age groups. And offers support within the community.
