Absolutely GORGEOUS church hall with vaulted ceiling where we have been for a few vintage dances and love returning. Facilities are good and dance floor and bar/staff excellent. Parking around the hall can get full if it's a well attended event so arrive early if you want a space. Lighting around the venue is dark so be careful if you have limited mobility if arriving after hours.

Been to a few events here for birthdays/anniversaries and Christenings. Lovely room which is really well looked after and a great space for 50-100 people.
I'd like to see the bar slightly better stocked and looked after. I'd probably lose the pumps altogether as often the pints don't taste great and just offer bottles and some craft ales. Maybe stock one or 2 decent gins and whiskies to finish it off and get 5 stars from me.

Wedding reception, lovely room, pleasant and helpful staff, round tables which I find preferable for chatting to all your group rather than a rectangular table where you can only speak to the person either opposite or next to you. Lovely high ceiling.

Hired the function hall for our wedding celebration. Great space but in need of redecorating as the hall and toilets looking quite tired. Manager of the hall could do with getting some people skills can be quite abrupt. Told on the afternoon of our function that there had been a problem with the bar licence and would have to close bar 30 mins earlier, no real apology or offer of a part refund as we had actually booked bar until 11.30. He was wanting people out as soon as he could. Didn't want to cause a fuss as we had a lot of people attending some travelling quite a distance to be there. Would not use again.

We went to a 18th birthday party. Hot food buffet was good the DJ was ok he played music for the age group. Not my type of music. Plenty of bar staff. All in all a very good night.
