Ignore the shutting time it lists, we turned up before half 4 which everything says online that it’s open til, and they turned us away saying they’re shut to us at 4 to sort out donations. Really quite rudely turned away too which was a shame.

Went to donate a mixture of items that were in very good condition today only to be met with abrupt & miserable staff. They wanted me to itemise all the things I had, rather than her walking outside & looking in my car!! Didn’t get a thank you, next time I will take my things to Woodside who are always polite, friendly & helpful.

Really disappointed with rude staff. Used to shop and donate there very frequently but will be going elsewhere in future. Have been to other outlets and the volunteers have been so pleasant and helpful so not sure what is going on here.

This shop is way overpriced, go round the corner to Woodside animal welfare charity shop where you will find much better value. I can never understand the attitude of let’s just stick high prices on. I’m not suggesting they give it away. However I just can’t understand why they don’t want to offer better prices move the stock through as long as they’ve got stock to replace and give people better value. Therefore they will have more customers and a better income. There was an ironing board in the shop for £8 when you can pick one up for nothing in a lot of places because nobody wants them anymore. I spent £30 at Woodside and nothing in this shop. Learn your lesson

I actually wanted to post this review with zero stars but had to at least choose 1 star to post.
As a support worker when out and about all day with my clients I don't always have a chance to use the bathroom unless in a safe place such as a shop, I asked to use the toilet while my clients were looking at some furniture for their flat and I was refused access to the toilet due to new policies which was difficult for me then as I do have a bladder disorder and barely made it to another location to use their toilet facilities with no issues what so ever. My clients were irritated by the way I was spoken to and the fact we then needed to rush to get to another location as people don't really that this really affects them even if it's not directly aimed at them.
Very disappointed with the Lack of Customer care at this shop.

For a place that sell donated items out of the generosity of the public their prices are getting close to that of a high street retailer. When asked for a little off when you can't afford an item they blatantly refuse. I asked an employee why some labels are cut off they said it's to make sure we don't price it expensive. So cutting it out means we have to sell it as a standard rate. I was shocked. Not impressed. A little research shows they pay the manager full managerial wage. Not impressed

Sadly my mum passed away. She has always done the St Luke's lottery so we thought it would be nice for all her belonging to help St Lukes raise funds. We were welcomed in by very friendly staff who helped unload our cars (and there was many car loads). They took everything we had left of mums house. It made our job easy to get mum's house cleared quickly. Well done all the staff at St Luke's warehouse in Plympton.
