Often walk through the church yard with the kids, it's a beautiful spot, with a number of foot paths going through it or very near by, including the two moors way. I also recently took the kids to a family service, we were made to feel very welcome, despite the youngest making a bit of noise and seeing how loudly he could drop a hymn book. The kids enjoyed the singing and the middle one was singing the songs later that day. They particularly enjoyed the fact cake was featured in the talk and that they got to eat some after the sermon. The church building is also beautiful inside out with some very ornate wood work.
