I want here to thank the staff of St Mary's Ulverston for their kindness to my dearest friend Jean Preston. A lovely lady herself, Jean died peaceful & pain-free at home a few days ago. I'm here in New Zealand, but her son Derek tells me that Jean's hospice care, & that of other supporters in Ulverston, has been superb. Thank you all.

Just enjoyed a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Orangery Cafe St Mary's Hospice Ulverston . Such a beautiful setting and building. Staff were as always very attentive and social distancing well observed . Gardens were amazing it really is a place of peace .

My brother was in St Mary’s for two weeks before he died, I can’t thank the staff enough
He was looked after in every single way possible. Anything he wanted the staff got it
Even his precious dog slept by his bed I don’t have enough words to praise them for all they did
