Andy and Chris were lovely and down to earth. I felt as though I got the most out of the woodwork sessions during my time with the Start project. I was really nervous about using the different machines, just the thought of using them was intimidating me at first. But week by week my confidence grew more and more. I felt safe completing my projects. I went from being nervous to enjoying it and keen to make more stuff. They were both really helpful and patient with me.

I attend ,'Start', on Thursdays which is excellent. I take drawing in the morning and Textiles in the afternoon, and there ate many other things that ate available, like ,Pottery, Music, Art, Woodwork, Mosaics, gardening and so much more, once you attend you never want to stop. The place has such a friendly and welcoming environment. Teachers and helpers are brilliant.
I feel so comfortable and look forward to attending every week, even though I have to travel from Wigan to Salford

This does creative arts and crafts for people with invisible illness or physical disabilities it is supported by the public and enforced by social healthcare.
Everyone is friendly and nice and so helpful. If you have questions on anything they can help you. They provide advice on local therapy talking groups but it is integrated with a lot of different classes available that you don't normally get to have. They also provide skills and arts that you don't normally have access to. Such as ceramics, painting, mosaics and gardening for a few things...
I can highly recommend this as a charity and as social care service for the those in need.
