Stay and Play is a small hidden gem - our overall experience was very pleasant and the food was tasty according to my toddler.

The venue itself seems quite small in comparison to some of the other local soft play areas. However the sheer amount of footfall pays testament to the team and facilities.

The overall cost of our experience was competitive and fair.

A highlight is a member of staff called Sarah. Sarah was incredibly welcoming and had amazing customer service. She ensured our visit was pleasant and is a true asset to the team.

My only niggle was that there is a minimum card payment on the food and beverages. Which is higher than the cost of a snack and drink for a little’un.

Staff were friendly and were quick to sweep food off the floor in the seating area.
However, the play area itself looks like it's never been cleaned. There are really thick layers of dust in areas, perfect for little hands to reach in and grab.

It was a Monday and there was an unexpected rush which is why the car park was full so I had to park a few roads down and walk up. It was very busy and my boy is 1 so I had to stay with him to stop him getting knocked over.
It was clean and enough for kids to play with. I'd go back for sure.

Stay and play is such a good place for children, it’s so clean the food is amazing! And the drinks too
The staff are amazing and lovely and very friendly!

I took my son to the Christmas disco and it’s was amazing! Meeting all the characters including spiderman, pepper and George, mickey and Minnie and much more!
He even got to meet Santa and mrs Claus which they came out at the end and dance with the children!
I cannot recommend enough to go and join the soft play for your little ones to have a great time

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR A PRIVATE PARTY HERE!!!
Really bad experience with Stay and Play (Laindon). We had a private party over there with 30 children, they don't let you to choose your convenient hour for the party, for a private party the only option it's 4-6pm even if you are paying a fee of £160 for exclusivity. We had guests that they arrived 10-15 min early, and they didn't let them go in early, they asked me to change the party hour if i want them in earlier (so to let them go in early, they changed the four 15:45-17:45). When the children had their meal, they had been rushed and pushed away from the room. Most of the children didn't finished their food, but the staff started to give them the ice cream. The face painting I thinks everyone could do to it better. A princess didn't looked like a princess....was just a line around the eyes. To pay £700 for a party and to have all these things is such a big shame!

After visiting today for the first time I can only think they were over booked, it was absolute carnage!!! Parking was hell and ate into 15 minutes of my time slot. I eventually parked a few roads away and walked. Amongt the madness the kids were playing but I couldn't take my eye off my 1 year old what with so many of the older kids running wild. We sat to eat the kids lunches and was shocked that we couldn't feed them their home made lunch, of course we would have ordered for ourselves but didn't have the option as we had to feed the kids their lunches in the carpark. Once we went back in, we were told the table had been cleared as they thought we had left. We sat at another table closer to the softplay to try and see through the madness, only for a member of staff to pull the table away from us (and run a chair over my friends foot) stating that it was for yet MORE arrivals. We had ordered coffee's at this point and had to stand to drink them as we felt unwelcome everywhere else. The carpet was covered in food from the vacated tables, which isn't ideal when you're in your socks. Between us all we have visited a lot of softplays, and never experienced something so manic yet so strict. I can safely say I would not visit again unfortunately!

Me and my wife went here with our 2 year old for breakfast with Santa. We had a great time. The food was great, lots of characters for the little ones to meet, the Santa had great chemistry with the kids and all the staff were great. The soft play had great visibility and you could see the little ones with ease. The condition and quality of the soft play areas were too notch. Will definitely go back.
