Visited today for an ear cleaning and was told my ears dont need cleaning. I discussed my concerns with Caitlan and she suggested a hearing test, which i duly took only to find that part of my hearing has deteriated as i expected. Caitlan was very efficient and profesional explaing the whole process in a clear way that I could understand. I then expected a hard sell on hearing aids... it didnt come 🙂 i then enquired about making payment and was told as they hadnt clanbed my ears there was no charge and the hearing test was also free,They wouldnt accept a payment so i made a £20 donation into one of their charity boxes. This is the second time i have used this company (once previously for my mother) and I cannot express how satisfied I am with their service. As i mentioned earlier Caitlin was realy professional and i cannot thank her enough.

I've been going to Stephen and Catelyn for nearly 2 years now having had 1 NHS Hearing aid since my early 20's. This had always suited me until I made an appointment to see Stephen. The quality of sound in the Hearing aids he has provided have been honestly life changing. We didn't get the right fit first time....having tiny ears, I was a tricky customer! Stephen worked with me until we found some that were both comfortable and offered an excellent level of sound quality too. Since then I've had reason for return visits and they've always been able to see me either the same day or within a day or so if they're busy. I'd highly recommend the clinic to anyone and do so by word of mouth regularly x

Having gone here in the past, I called in today Monday 14th October, as I had lost my hearing in my right ear, due to a wax build up. I understood they where busy, but to be told by the receptionist i could not be seen till Thursday & explaining how much pain I was in, I was told to “live with it till then”
I left & called in at Specsavers, who managed to fit me in more or less straight away.
After the treatment & been shown what had come out of my ear, I was told another day & my eardrum would have burst causing a loss of hearing, very impressive service & I was put at ease. I explained what had happened earlier & the girl was pretty taken aback.
Stephen Toon needs to have more compassionate receptionists, very upset by this.

I can't recommend Stephen Toon Hearing Care enough! I had been struggling with clogged ears for weeks, and nothing I tried at home seemed to work. My hearing was muffled, and it was becoming frustrating to have conversations.

The procedure itself was quick and painless. Stephen used the latest microsuction technology, which felt much more comfortable than the irrigation I'd heard about.

The best part? The difference was immediate! My ears felt instantly clearer, and my hearing was back to normal. It was like a whole new world of sound!

I just want to share how impressed I am with Stephen and his admin team. I emailed at the weekend regarding my daughters blocked ears. I received an email back first thing on Monday offering her an appointment Wednesday's afternoon. We was seen bang on time and Stephen was amazing with my daughter. She can get nervous at appointments but he was so good with her, and they had a good laugh during the ear eax removal process. Honestly I would recommend this business to anyone and will definitely use again if and when required.

Thanks so much for helping out my elderly dad today! He, and we, were really struggling with his sudden deafness caused by wax. He has vascular dementia and the deafness really increased his confusion. Fantastic service as Stephen fitted in the treatment at lunchtime. We will have a much less stressful weekend now! Great company. They've helped me with my hearing methodically, I've had three different tests done to gauge my level of hearing and so professionally, too. The staff are friendly, helpful, and thorough with investigating my problem. I found it beneficial because they were able to investigate my hearing problem rather than just looking down my ears, which is what a GP practice would have done. The practice has a wheelchair access and a car park at the rear, this is very useful as the practice is on the main road. They have also lent me a couple of hearing aids to help me whilst I get my referral appointment at ENT. Would I recommend them? Absolutely! Thank you, guys!
