This place is a vibrant community venue with ethics and individuality. I came here (and played here) in the 90s. It still has that same buzz.

Absolutely love it here, the community spirit is so alive! Prices are super fair too! They do a Sunday brunch and Saturday evenings are usually some sort of fundraiser for a worthy cause. A heartfelt place with many a friendly face!

Nice community centre run by volunteers. Members bar (Forest Fields Social Club) open at weekends and for some organised events by prior arrangement. Home of Veggies (Vegan) Catering Campaign, People's Kitchen, and room / garden bookings (hire) for community / private/ charity events.

There isn't a live music venue like the wonderfully chaotic Sumac Centre, it's like playing in a madman's living room. It is run by a team of extraordinary volunteers who do what they can to raise money and give support to the most needy. Magnificent

It's like being in The Young Ones house when there's a band playing. Great fun and great atmosphere. A community hub and good supporters.
