I would say a typical CIU club. Have been going to this place for years, and it never changes. Looks small from the outside, but there is plenty of room. inside. There is a large function hall at the rear of the property with a large garden area. A nice sized front bar with booth seating and 1 single pool table in the middle, sounds weird, but it works. Like all working men's clubs, the prices weren't too bad, 2 spitfires, 1 Carlsberg and a J2o - £13.
They used to let affiliated members play on these nice snooker tables that were located at the back but stopped, which was a shame as this could have attracted more customers. The bar staff are lovely and I've never had any trouble there in years of going.

Attended a private after funeral wake. We were about 200. The party arrived 2 hours late at the function. On arrival everyone was made welcome and extra staff were put behind the bar. The food was exceptional. Joints of Beef, Pork Turkey a full salmon all beautifully cooked and presented. Would recommend to anyone for an exellent private function Great Value for money

Ok place for a quick cheap drink but not to stay at for too long. Staff always look depressed. Snooker room never open. Music always on too low.
