Brand new well thought out pub restaurant, taking place of the old cricketers , which was tierd and STICKY! ( CARPETS) staff were lovely, Chantelle the manager is VERY helpful. Great decor, spacious and airy, my friends were impressed with the roast dinners, I only had cauliflower cheese, was nice though. Big selection of beers and wines. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon, then all of a sudden very busy, of course I'd forgotten I was at the fricket ground! After being a local for 20 yrs, being in this new place felt so different to the old one. The only thing I personally missed was the outdoor back garden, however there's a front terrace with quite a bit of seating, and as it's south facing, so lots of sun ( when it's out !) Go and experience this great new Cricketers! Pip

Used to visit this pub years before the rebuild. Great place, but a bit short on choice of food. Had eggs benedict washed down with Rioja. Otherwise, worth 5 stars!

An interesting venue but ruined for us by the excessively loud music. People meet to socialise with each other and have conversations which they can't do if they are being deafened. Save the loud music for discos. Apart from that the food was good and the staff friendly.

Horrendous experience. Called them to enquire if the 4th Nov fireworks display was still going ahead due to the 35mph wind forecast. The โ€œladyโ€ I spoke to was clearly having a bad day or is just generally rude as the response I received was โ€œyou will know if itโ€™s going to be cancelled 30 minutes before the time of the eventโ€ and also wasnโ€™t able to confirm if we would be eligible for a refund if it was rescheduled to a date that we were able to attend. Continually talked over me with patronising responses and she then hung up on me!! Big mistake as I also called to arrange a corporate event for my 30 staff for next year. Will certainly be taking my business elsewhere.
