It was my first visit to the Repair Cafe. I brought my favourite trousers which needed taking in at the waist and hips, a difficult job due to their complicated construction. Cilla very kindly took it on and I now have a beautifully made pair of trousers that fit, and I am delighted.
Everybody I met at the Repair Cafe was friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place. I enjoyed my afternoon there very much.

This was my first visit to The Repair Cafe and I cannot praise it highly enough. My toaster was repaired quickly and expertly. The whole process from the initial booking procedure through to the actual repair was carried out efficiently and in a very welcoming manner. I shall certainly recommend it to all my friends.

As always, the volunteer repairer (Simon) was as helpful as he could be - sadly my appliance was too old for the parts to be available, but he checked out all possibilities for me and suggested replacement alternatives. Many thanks - great service!

I was booked to look at a fault on my garden blower/vac.

I was seen at the allotted time and Andrew (the technician) then spent over an hour and a half diagnosing the fault and implementing a fix. His perseverance and technical skill in addressing the problem was outstanding, especially as he had no prior knowledge of the make.

Went along with a 25 year old cd mini-hi-fi that still works brilliantly, but somewhere along the line has taken some damage to the rear connectors meaning it no longer sends a reliable audio signal through the RCA line out connectors - my fault probably lugging it around various student house shares and subsequent moves in my adult life.

A friendly greeting and was seen to very quickly. Booking essential as was busy. Neil was really helpful, and able to identify the fault within 10 minutes. Solder in the circuit board had broken and come loose causing the problem. A quick solder, and once over PAT safety test , and I was on my way within 30 minutes.

So glad I can now enjoy the player for another 25 years!

Can't recommend the Horsham repair cafe enough.

The Horsham Repair Cafe is simply excellent! What a brilliant idea to keep things out of landfill and extend their life. I have had numerous items fixed by experts with incredible knowledge and experience - I have learnt a lot from seeing them do their magic. Whatever you do before you 'throw' give the repair cafe a 'go'!

While my fabric repair couldn’t be done - of the three sewing machines, two became inoperable - the volunteer very kindly agreed to take my fabric repair to her home and do it there.
That’s service for you! Sometimes things can’t go to plan, and it’s how it’s dealt with that shows excellent service.
