The swag center is for helping people and providing resources for the community….I have been dealing with the swag center for 7years and until today under new management (Stacey) the swag center was not willing to allow me to turn in my paperwork via email or a hour early due to my work schedule I was also told that the contact person listed on my application could not turn it in… I am very disappointed in the swag center and its management (the receptionist was very polite while trying to help me)

Disappointed they don't return phone calls. But not sure if it's a staffing issue.
But I'd hoped one could return my call over a week old.

Doing the most good in the hood?. The TEAM or Staff members are ALL GREAT PEOPLE... who are CALLED to be here by TMH ... not chasing a pay check... THEY ARE TRYING to save our future GATOR NATION ?️? please come down and ask what you can do to contribute or volunteer, ...donate gently used books for educational toys & clothing an/or school supplies such as paper pencil crayons markers printer paper ? origami paper ? all year round please, not just the Christmas season. The children love to receive small rewards for good behaviors ... there's also a "comm-unity" garden if anyone is interested in assisting HELP to coordinating this, JUST ask.... it's sad because when SWAG is doing the meal GIVEAWAYS an/or breads&sweets EVERYONE hands ARE AVAILABLE TO TAKE... just trample over there get what they can TAKE and don't ASK what they can GIVE (time works) and everyone is able to give back in some way... and I'd like to add the people are very rude and nasty up off and heard them complaining about the meals after receiving them and I'm talking about grown adults So,Yes... bless others and you shall be blessed Shandra Robin Malaika?

Very helpful if you want to get your life back on track and are struggling. They help getting food stamps, helps pregnate mothers with any needs, helps homeless people get into shelters and or puts them in front of the right people to talk to about housing. They have food panterys, clothing drives and hygnie products.

Swag is the go to Heaven on Earth Center. When you hit a bump in the road to Success. Swag Resource Center and their Forever warm and how can I help you attitude. Are there to guide you on the Path to your New Future. Encourage you to keep going if you're already Living your future. And if you lost your way, give you the items available, information available, to re-enter the workforce. I'm so grateful for Swag and I'm not alone Many others in The Community. Food share started out okay but kept dwindling down. This year have not gotten the VA response for Thanksgiving nor Christmas food offers. Sadly we're going without because of it. Nor will I cook for anyone.

If you go on the second Saturday of the month before 8 you can have your pets check out. You can get free meds and free food for pets.
They do a great trukey giveaway for Thanksgiving. Just show before the week of Thanksgiving and bring an utility bill with your name and id card. Then they will tell you when to come back for the bird.
