When we first met Dan at the tender stage of our self build project, we were so impressed with the quality of work he was able to show us but even more so the relationships he had made with previous clients that we met. It was an easy choice for us to chose TDR Summers and it’s one we’re very glad that we did. The whole Summers family are incredible craftsmen in their own right but together they make a fantastic team. Dan leads the team exceptionally well and is a great communicator, a people person and has a precise eye for detail. We always appreciated his honesty and he really contributed to improving our house through his sharp design knowledge.
I can understand why people say that self building is a stressful process and let’s be honest, it is at times. But for us, TDR Summers guided us superbly through the process and made our experience and our house something really special. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We have worked in the building industry for many years.
We used TDR Summers to build our architect designed house in Bideford.
They are a pleasure to work with. Always finding solutions to any problems and making useful, informed recommendations. Nothing is too much trouble. Dan listens and pays attention to all requests. The whole team are friendly, courteous and reliable. They all display a very high level of craftsmanship and skill in their trades and show great attention to detail.
We would highly recommend TDR Summers and would have no hesitation in using the team again.
