Tar hill has many war hut foundations and a very mature collection of trees that were planted during the war. If you explore during late summer or early autumn you may find some excellent fruit. Or just take in the views of Staffordshire and watch the sunset behind Stafford. This area can easily be accessed from the Chase road.
