I regularly go to the cafe with my two little boys and they really love the little play area. The staff are so nice and friendly and love to stop and have a chat with the customers. It's always such a nice, happy atmosphere. The food is really good value for money and I can highly recommend the bacon sandwiches. My son also highly recommends the Nutella on toast 🥴. Would highly recommend to anyone of any age, but it's also fantastic if you have young children.

I contacted the Centre with hope of renting a room for a local spiritual awareness group. I charge £2.50 pp per hour, depending on how many people attend depends if I manage to cover my cost for traveling.
The email I received from the Armstrong Centre told me in no uncertain terms that myself and my group is not allowed to rent a room due to my belief system may vary with theirs.
I believe in love to all and also to treat people with compassion, understanding regardless of their belief system.
What a shame these people running this “community hall” have policies in place that discriminates against people sharing what is described as a “community hall”, everyone can share as long as they believe what they do.
Shame on you

Staff are very friendly and it is very child friendly especially with having a little play area full of toys for children under 5 and lots of books for you to read with your child. Tables are nicely spread out so you don't feel on top of each other and they offer a good range of food and drinks for breakfast or lunch at great prices.

Lovely friendly staff and delicious food in the café. Also very reasonable prices and a large selection. There is a small play area for children (in the café) and the place is kept spotlessly clean.
