We found this sanctuary on a “To do in Bath” list and trust me when I say that probably it was one of the best and unexpected experiences. The staff members are very knowledgeable and patient with answering all of our questions. Seeing how much they care about all the birds is really touching. We booked the “Fly a bird” and we fed Arwen! Both felt very unique and would definitely want to return and experience everything all over again. Cannot recommend this place enough!

This was an incredible experience! We booked the Owl Encounter for my partner's birthday, and we could not have been more impressed. The staff are excellent and make sure that you enjoy the encounter while learning about the owls. Patrick and Holly were both present in our encounter, and they were very enthusiastic and even took some photos for us. We can't thank them enough.

Had a lovely time here. I paid extra to hold a beautiful owl called Eddie.
We went for the afternoon flight and watched Weeman fly around. The staff were all super friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all, all the birds looked to be well looked after and happy!

We went as part of a double birthday present for the hawk and owl experience. It was fantastic. The site is really well looked after, lots of space for the animals and is kept clean and tidy. The staff were all super friendly, well-informed and clearly very passionate about what they do (shout out to Kate who was our amazing bird expert). Finally, the birds themselves are all magnificent. They’re clearly very well looked after, look very healthy and happy and were well behaved and just awesome. We also spent an hour with Charlie the hawk and an hour spent with three very different owls as well as being allowed to look around the owlery and museum etc., as well as getting to watch a display after our experience, so it was also good value for money. There’s also a lovely farm shop next to it for lunch or a coffee. Also only a 20 minute drive from central Bristol! Would recommend to anyone.

What an incredible experience this was. We did the Owl Encounter and Hawk Walk and I highly recommend both. However, nothing beats having a hawk land on your arm or head in a beautiful field. This is a must visit type place!!

The Bird of Prey project is AMAZING. I was given the Owl Experience for my birthday so got the chance to meet 3 incredible owls. Rowan (hope that's the right spelling) and Naomi were in the barn with us and really put me at ease. I had lots of questions (I don't know much about owls) and not only could they answer them all but they shared lots of extra information and interesting facts about these wonderful birds. We also spent time looking around the Owlery where there are many other owls - some of them are huge! The birds look so well cared for and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.
This is a really special place with a strong focus on conservation. I will definitely be back for another visit and I cannot recommend it enough.

I was given an owl encounter here for my birthday. The owlry has so many different kinds of owls to see and learn about. There are 2 bird displays a day and the staff are very knowledgeable. The hour long encounter included 3 different types of owl flying to land on my gloved hand! Amazing experience.

We had an absolute HOOT today at West Of England Falconry!
The staff are so friendly, informative and enthusiastic, you can tell they have a true passion for what they do and alot of love for all the birds of prey.
The whole site and mews/birdhouses are spotless and spacious.
We arrived fifteen minutes after the first display of the day had started and still managed to see three displays before we had a walk around to look at the other birds of prey and there are some truly stunning birds here, our favourites being the snowy owl, the great eagle owl and Ffion, who is an absolute babe!
My children were amazed in the museum by the eggs and feathers in the display cases, also the huge chalk table which they had a blast scribbling on.
I'm not going to lie, I'm normally a grump when it comes to admission prices, but for a tenner admission for the three of us, one child who's five and the other three, I can't fault the fee to see such beauty, but even more so that you know it's going to the upkeep of this truly magnificent place and it's inhabitants 🥰👏🦉🦅⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
