We had dinner at The Boot and it was fabulous. It's a great place to go; still retaining the feel of a well used local village pub but serving food that is a cut above most other places. The beer selection is great and the menu has classic dishes served with some really elegant touches. The staff are friendly and efficient as well.
One of the nicest places to go for food or a drink in the local area.

I love this place. I don't live locally so don't get to go often but it's always a standout experience when I do. This was my scallop with pork belly starter. It was delicious. And the best thing is the pub is owned and run by the community. If you're in the area and looking for great food you won't be disappointed by The Boot.

Great local pub. Chris is an excellent landlord. The food is a very good standard so you may need to book. Lovely beamed pub with a well kept garden.

Such a lovely pub and amazing people behind the bar. A great big thank you from me and my Mum for helping us get home after getting stuck in the floods today. You were absolutely brilliant leading the way out of the village and driving miles down flooded and the narrowest lanes I've ever driven down to make sure we could get on our way home. Thank you so much, we will be back for a Sunday Lunch!!

Had a lovely meal here today with the family, eating in the snug, and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. The food was excellent, we all really enjoyed it. But I also have to give a shout out for how accommodating the chef was with my multiple allergies. They created a separate menu for me with options, and came to see me to talk it through. This was so helpful and made me feel reassured (and the options were delicious too). Thank you! ☺️

Really lovely pub with a nice cozy atmosphere. The staff especially are amazing, my friends and I got a bit stuck during some flooding and Chris was an absolute legend and showed us a way around all the flooding and got us back on track with out journey. (The lady working on the bar was also super lovely and helpful but I didn't catch her name unfortunately 🙁 )

We had an absolutely superb NYE meal at The Boot and the choice and quality of the menu was top notch. With great service and Chris being a very friendly and welcoming host, this was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and in a cosy, warm and proper Country Pub which is truly flying the flag for success as a Community Pub. You will not be disappointed it is a gem of a find!
