I’m a long time supporter of The Borgen Project. I’m proud of the work the org does to help improve conditions for those living in the poverty. They look at multiple areas each year to try and reach as many groups as possible with their work.

This is a scam. They recruit college students/ young people seeking advancement to endlessly fundraise - ask their family and friends for money- with no clear goal or evidence of what they do with this money.

They have no actual employees. The “policy” they advocate for is surface level at the most and very vague. They do not have any actual ties to any other organizations or opinion leaders which is a big red flag.

Do not waste your time or your money “interning” for these people. This is very much a scam.
