We hired their function room at the back which was a good size for an 80th birthday party. Plenty of parking 🅿️ on the front. As you walk through the front door, you walk into a great looking old and cosy style pub, down the hallway to the function room. A great selection of spirits 🥃, wines 🍷 and a great beer🍻 selection.

I RECENTLY (Sept. 2024) ATTENDED A FUNERAL WAKE AT THE
CLUB AND THE QUALITY OF THE REFRESHMENTS WAS 'EXCELLENT'. THE CREAM CAKES ESPECIALLY SO !!

Bar lady, (blonde) was really rude and aggressive (throughout the night, giving the impression that it was a chore to serve, there was no polite, happy or friendly service) after a member of the party apologised for a misunderstanding of him trying to get her attention at the bar (no one had came through for a while and there was no bell). The six members of the party that was stood at the bar and witnessed the apology at the time then tried to defuse the misunderstanding but was then met with her refusing to serve the entire room. We come here every Christmas for our family get together and are very disappointed with the lack of customer service portrayed by this one server. The other younger server who worked earlier in the night however was lovely and very pleasant.
