Great Place to visit, car park is free and to visit is free, not a lot of places are free anymore!!! The walk to the top is pathed and it’s a 15min walk steady up hill, once there the views are amazing,,,, you will not be disappointed, good notices telling about the site and history, loved the circular N,E,S,W compass, with directions to the world 🌍, walk back down, you will stop a lot just looking at the views, took me longer to walk back down for this reason 😎, Oh forgot, dog friendly, but please pick up any Doo Doo, have fun

A huge interactive artwork/sculpture that can be walked around and overlooks a giant working quarry. A great place to visit with kids as it's only a short walk from the car park nearby. There is also a nice cafe just down the road or you can visit Pateley Bridge.

Sitting only a few hundred meters uphill from the car park, this is a lovely place to come for splendid views of the surrounding countryside.

There’s some interesting information about the geology of the landscape, as well as the historic lime kilns that were once occupied here.

A perfect place for a sunny picnic.

Really fun walk and quite informative too, went on a week day so managed to get park up even if the car park is really small, then a short walk up and you’ll be met with the Coldstone Cut massive bike which you sadly can’t get on😂then the Coldstone Cut is an incredible art piece which is fun the walk around and the quarry is quite the view as well, highly recommend and also the farm shop local, definitely go and buy something🌾

Very tired puppy after🐶

An outstanding view of not just the quarry but Nidderdale and a lot of Yorkshire. On a clear day you can see York, Drax and Emily Moor!!

What an amazing, hidden gem. The art installation is well worth a visit and the views from the too!!
However, although the sculpture is wheelchair accessible. The path up without an electrically powered all terrain wheelchair would be extremely difficult.
