Amazing to see all the donkeys. They have 200 here! You can get close enough to pet them but they are not interested as I imagine they get petted a lot. The cafe is also good but quite busy. Entry is free!

Love this place and didn't want to leave! The donkeys are beautiful and clearly very well looked after. The volunteers are also very knowledgeable and friendly. There is plenty to do for a full day, particularly if you stop for something to eat in the restaurant. We went twice in a week and will definitely be back again next time we are in Devon!

Visited here for an impromptu visit on holiday. Very professional set up throughout. Plenty of parking, and although we parked in the overflow and thought it was going to be very busy the site is vast so didn’t feel cramped at all.
Loved seeing all the donkeys. All looked happy and very well cared for by the keepers. Knowledgable and friendly staff in the visitor centre, gift shop and working in the stables.
Free entry, would highly recommended to anyone visiting Devon.

Well worth a visit. Much more than my expectations. It is FREE, so I expected something small and possibly a bit run down. There is such a lot of land to walk around and see so many donkeys being highly cared for. There is a very big and lovely cafe all very modern with a reasonable menu. Everywhere is nicely planted and very pretty with several gardens and a hedge maze. Amazing free day out for families.
