Attended a function here recently. Staff were excellent, facilities were okay but a disabled toilet upstairs would be helpful ( especially as you already have a stairlift in situ).
Extra shout out to the bar staff who kept me supplied with ale even though they had to keep going downstairs to fetch it ( surely one ale pump amongst all the lager ones upstairs isn't too much of an ask)!

The Fisherman's Club hosts the Darts Competition every year, where various talented players get together to compete against one another. It's always a friendly and clean establishment, with a well stocked bar. They have a couple of areas that you can rent out for private events and parties.

Been coming here for a while now, mainly for Snooker. Great family ran venue with very good staff. The Fish as we call it has been well invested in lately, with all three Snooker tables re-clothed and heated by one of the best in the business. Never any dramas here even when everyones had a few too many.
Would well recommend getting membership as the savings on drinks alone pay for it in no time and you get points back, so it can even work out free over the year.

My husband sadly passed away and we had his funeral there. The service was excellent starting with the management who advised the correct amount of food which room would be best for the amount of people attending. The bar staff was very quick and tea and coffee available at all times. Highly recommended for all occasions. Julie 😘
