We had a super Sunday Roast at The Fountain Inn last weekend. Delicious food, great atmosphere and ambiance and perfect service!

Great pub. Accommodated a party of six at very short notice today. Although a limited menu, food was absolutely gorgeous and staff were very attentive. Would come here again.

Held a 50th birthday party at the Inn and Melissa & Rann couldn’t do enough to make it the special event it was. From the great food, arranging 1/2 the bar area for us, decorating it out (amazing job Melissa) & the food was incredible (totally delicious Rann).
The fire pit outside for us was welcome - especially for the toasting of the marshmallows.
Thoroughly recommend the Fountain Inn not just for an event but for the drinks, meals & welcome. Totally 5 star worthy 👍

First impressions leave a lasting impression....Visited out of chance during a black out....and was charmed beyond belief. The local customers could not have been any more friendly and engaging. Wonderful. And to the new owners, charming, convivial and entertaining. Could not have been made to.feelore welcome. Great range of drinks too, craft beers to guest ales. I can't wait to return when the kitchen is up and running. I have no doubt this will be a place to make a detour to. Wonderful.

Visited for Sunday lunch, had the roast chicken which was cooked to perfection and nicely served. The landlord who is also the chef and the landlady are friendly and welcoming, the staff are all efficient, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a lovely meal at a great price in a nice relaxed, music free atmosphere and will certainly be returning especially when the menu is expanded. We certainly recommend visiting this nice village pub.

The pub has reopened with new management and it is fantastic.The place was packed this Friday evening with a great atmosphere and the new layout and furnishings give it a really homely, cosy and intimate feel.Hopefully the new food menu will be available soon, even more reason to visit this great friendly pub.

Update: The pub started their trial of Sunday roasts today. The roast beef dinner was superb, everything cooked to perfection. Didn’t try the chicken but it looked great as well. Can’t wait for the extended menu!
