This place was glorious! Such a wonderful experience. The animals are so calm and beautiful, they give off so much loving energy. The place is really cool with so many different things to see and experience. It was really cute how the cows had Halloween bows and the guides were in costumes! All of the guides were sweet and informative. Had a delicious vegan dog in a cool and spooky vampire/Halloween cart. 10/10 will go back. Bought stuff in the gift shop to support the sanctuary ?

Places like this make the world a brighter and gentler place, it gives me hope for the future of humanity and the futures of our animal friends. Ellie the founder is such a pure soul and kind heart, before meeting the animals she shares the story of The Gentle Barn and it is inspiring to see someone’s childhood dreams become reality. All the animals seem so happy, healthy, and most importantly loved. The volunteers who speak for the animals are knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. A great photo opportunity of course and also a beautiful place of rest and reflection—everyone should have the experience of hugging a cow!

My mom and I have now visited the Gentle Barn three times, for cow hug therapy, the Sunday tour, and, most recently, for barnyard therapy. All of these experiences were so special. The volunteer for the barnyard therapy (I wish I could remember her name) was extremely welcoming. We loved hearing her tell us the animals’ stories, and she made sure we were able to spend time with all the animals during the hour but never hovered over us. The Gentle Barn does such wonderful things for animals and humans, and I highly recommend visiting/donating to anyone who can.

Gentle Barn is in it's simplest form of loving kindness. You wouldn't think you needed therapy until you hug a cow or pig. When I left I had no stress or concerns of this cruel the world. I was more than willing to give a donation to this Gentle Barn and the staff that cares over these beautiful creatures. The staff are all very lovely individuals. I highly recommend therapy here at the Gentle Barn.

This place is the best! They love and care for the animals very well. They help and rescue animals and give them medical care, massage therapy, sound therapy and so much more. I am happy to donate here, where I know they are really taking care of the animals. They turkeys, chickens, llamas, pigs, etc are all walking around freely and all of the animals here look so happy and at ease. I'd definitely recommend to visit this place. Thank you to all the volunteers and owners who make peace and health possible for these animals.

Cute loving experience. Turkeys, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, horses.. an awesome place for animal therapy for both humans and animals to benefit. Great experience for kids and all ages! Dress comfortably .. shoes.. I recommend pants, hat, sunscreen

Absolutely LOVED my visit to The Gentle Barn. The education portion at the beginning was a pleasant surprise as it primed me to better understand and engage with the animals of the sanctuary. My visit was a memory I will always treasure.

Best therapy around. The owners and staff are just as kind, friendly and caring as the animals. Being the kids and share a hug with a cow or pig.
