I’ve just been invited to The Granby Care Home in Harrogate to do a magic show for the residents! Both the residents and staff were lovely! There was lots of engagement throughout the show,.
On the way to the care home I got a puncher in the road works and had quit a wait with my daughter who likes to help me during the holidays.
The lovely staff kindly brought us food and refreshments throughout which made the wait for the car tyre much more bearable!
Thanks again for a lovely experience and hope to see you again with more magic in 2025

I am Professional Opera singer and had a great opportunity to perform several times at Granby Retirement home. What an amazing atmosphere. Caring and extremely attentive staff members made sure residents had the best time. Nothing was too much for them. Felt truly cosy. Beautiful interior. Warm welcoming. My visit and performance felt truly memorable. Felt so heart warming every single time. Definitely looking forward to see everyone again.

I was invited to perform my Mariachi Show at the Granby last May as part of the Cinco de Mayo celebrations.  It's located in lush, peaceful, beautiful surroundings a few minutes from Harrogate town centre with ample parking space. I was warmly greeted by friendly faces and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to make the afternoon a special and memorable event. The atmosphere within seemed jolly with many young at heart residents actively participating in the day's activities with gusto, laughter and smiles- which reflects positively on the staff and management of this care home.
Communication with the activities coordinator was excellent. Thank you for a lovely trip to Harrogate!

Like a third world Banana Republic. They're incapable of making a blended meal for peg users, after numerous emails of clear concise instructions they still can't get it right. I've had to contact the police as my nutrition is suffering. Call bells take plus 30 minutes to answer on average with my record 55 minutes. Plus the cheap nylon bedding which does wonders for your pressure sores. There are good staff but they're in the minority.

Was thinking of taking my beloved Aunt here but until the policy regarding Vaccines is altered, not a chance. my aunt is so against it! So much evidence to the contrary out there guys!

My involvement with The Granby has been through the U3A Film Studies group.The Granby generously offered the use of their wonderful cinema room to our film group who meet once a month, alternating afternoons and evenings.
Residents from the Granby choose the afternoon viewings and it has been a great way to involve the residents and local community in a shared interest. On behalf of the film club I would like to thank the events team at the Granby for creating this opportunity.

With all the data about death and injury the covid jabs are causing you should be banning them not encouraging them. Government guidelines caused this cancer epidemic and myocarditis and blood clots and deaths. Why would you follow them, please do real research and use your common sense

I am writing this review on behalf of the fantastic partnership that has been developed between Brighter Kind at the Granby and the NHS Natural Health School at Harrogate and District NHS Trust. The facilities within Granby, but in particular the Health and Wellbeing Suite have provided the most fabulous setting for NHS led Complementary Therapy training. Developing this relationship has been mutually beneficial to our course Students and the residents and staff at Granby. The Brighter Kind ethos of bringing community services and support to their residents to improve their lives within their home is definitely reflected in the work we have jointly been doing. Thank you for your continued support.
