Great place just off A6. Plenty of space and walking routes which are very clearly marked. At the entrance it says 1 pound entrance fee but I guess it’s for when you park there, but you can easily park on the road. There is some longer and shorter walks around small hills. Available for cycling, running and horse riding.

Great place to roam amongst a mixed woodland environment, plenty of wildlife sightings from squirrels to roe deer.
The whole wood can be accessed by wheel and push chair users with lots of little paths heading deeper into the woodland for the more mobile.
