Went into there on New Years Eve, very busy but amazing service and food. Didn't wait long for a table and the team apologised for keeping us waiting but it didn't matter and they were full. Ordered bacon and a sausage sandwich, which I'm certain is now the best I have tasted, great products served and plenty of it.
Well done and thank you you were all working very hard this day πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŽ…πŸΌ

Great, quirky place in Polperro. Excellent, nautical decor with items used from a salvaged shipwreck including wood and rigging parts. It wasn't busy when I visited, with not many people in, but service seemed a bit reluctant and sluggish. I was sat round the corner from the counter, but I had to go up in the end to place orders, rather than table service. I had the Cornish Gouda Rarebit and it was superbly tasty. I would definitely have that again, mmm, lovely aftertaste. Also had to have a morsel of cake, would be rude not to. Would definitely revisit and recommend as food was very good indeed.

Stopped in here because my daughter had blisters from wearing new shoes, The member of staff that helped us was very helpful and friendly, giving us some plasters for our daughters feet. We ordered some milk shakes for my girl for being so brave and they were so tasty. My wife and I had some nice iced coffees too. We liked that had a box of childrens book for our kids to browse whilst waiting for our drinks.

Stopped for one night with friends, walking the coast path in March. Despite us all being wringing wet and muddy we received a super-warm welcome from Claire who even dried our clothes! Amazing breakfast with home made walnut bread. Room with best view in town! Don’t expect slick or swanky. Do expect amazing hospitality, great food, and everything you need.

We stopped in Polperro for lunch during a coast path walk and came across The 17th century House on the Props near the harbour. We both had the hot smoked mackerel salad which was absolutely delicious. Salad leaves, olives, tomatoes, beetroot, roasted baby potatoes and butternut squash, two delicious hot smoked mackerel fillets topped off with a perfectly cooked poached egg. |We had a warm scone cream tea each after (mine was gluten free)|Service was great and dog friendly too. This place is a hidden gem.

Excellent seafood, we had one portion of Gambas and one of Mussels. Well worth the walk over from Looe.
