Fantastic little pub accommodated 14 adults as a walk in group for full English breakfast even though they were short staffed nothing too much trouble for the man who was working will definitely visit again when in the area

Decent pub food. Burger patty was delicious but the bun was far too big for it. Left with 1/3rd of the bread after eating the burger. The stilton and mushrooms were incredible. Highly recommend
Decent pub, staff are lovely.

Very disappointed with service and food.
Ordered fish and chips. The fish was very small and batter was so hard ,about 10 chips which were very dry. The portion size was also very small. Did not cover all the plate. It was just slapped onto the plate no prevention.I wish now I had sent it back ,not value for money. Not as could as last time .

Comfortable, friendly pub with great options for kids. But nothing good for vegetarians/Vegans. In the day time there are sandwiches and jacket potatoes. Evening just a fake meat burger. There was a cheese broccoli thing but they had run out. Everyone else was really happy with their meals so likely will go again. But we would be regulars if you have one decent vegi or vegan option.

Went in the derby tup for the first time since May. Much improved, better range of real ales and the place has been decorated.

First time eating here last week, it was a Sunday so I thought it would only be right to order a roast. I ordered the ‘premium’ and I have no idea what was premium about it, it was bland. I believe my expectations for pub food is fair, if they had given me more gravy it may have been easier to eat. I wish I had taken a photo because there was only gravy on the meat, l probably should have given them chance to fix it before writing a review but i’m not one to make a fuss, besides no one asked if it was okay anyhow. The desserts we had were nice at least, like I say I definitely do not have high expectations but both our dishes were not great. It definitely seems like a nice place for locals to come for a drink but food wise I wouldn’t recommend
