Manned the polling station with some really nice people. Had to get there from just after 6a.m. and left at 11:00 p.m. so a long day. The community centre is well located having a youth club next door and lots of green areas. The car park is of a good size to. What struck me was the very up to date and luxury kitchen that the centre has. Defiinately not a shoddy place reflecting the care that the local Parish Council does to take care of what is now a very expanded village.

One of our country's great things is its village halls. This renovated gem served as a great HQ for a cycling event. Was happy to end the day watching the cricket in the field after cycling to Symonds Yat and back. There is no better cup of tea than the one for tea at cricket after bowling a long spell or a long ride in the sun

Having attended meetings at the hall fo 20 years or so I have a feeling of coming home. I will be so very happy when we can start meeting there regularly again on Tuesday evenings.
