The moment I walked through the door, I was immediately struck by the beautiful decor, which blended natural elements with modern touches. The menu boasted an impressive array of vegan dishes, and I decided to try their vegan goat curry and my SO went to for the TLT(tofu, lettuce, and tomato) sandwich. I was intrigued to see how this classic dish would fare, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.

The vegan goat curry was a revelation! The flavors were rich and aromatic, with just the right amount of spice to tantalize my taste buds. It was hearty and satisfying, with tender mock meat that closely resembled the real thing, but without any animal products. The accompanying side dishes of fluffy rice and fresh, crisp salad complemented the curry perfectly.

Next up was the tlt sandwich, which was a delightful twist on the traditional BLT. Wow wow wow. First visit to the cafe today and it was lovely. We aren't vegan and my husband can be a bit sceptical about vegan food but he was blown away with the coffee and banana biscoff french toast. We visited with our young children and they adapted the menu for the children. We felt so welcome by the host and the whole place just felt lovely. We will be returning!

We love popping into the magic sunflower, so when planning our wedding we knew we would love them to make our cake. The did a wonderful job, it was beautiful and very yummy. Both flavours (chocolate fudge and biscoff) were a big hit with the guests. They were really helpful adjusting the delivery time in line with our venue. Thank you for being a part of a magical day.

My first visit, after hubby visited a few weeks ago.
I had the tofu scramble and he had the beetroot hummous/avo toast. Both beautifully presented and very delicious. Great vibe/music in the cafe too.
So chuffed we finally found a great vegan eatery, not too far from home. Thank you guys, we’ll be back.

Love this place, always worth the drive from Derby to visit ? The fact everything is vegan AND gluten free if you need it is HUGE brownie points from us. Had fab scrambled tofu and avocado toast nom nom ?. My only complaint is too much cake choice as they were all vegan and gf!! ? We took the cakes home for lunch...delish!!! Love it!!! Fabulous food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Sunday lunch was amazing. Looking forward to coming back again soon to try the rest of the menu as it’s all looks and sounds delicious. We couldn’t resist getting some cakes to take away.
