My dad moved into Manor House after a spell of ill health.
He had previously been living in an assisted living apartment with domiciliary care but his increase in care needs and isolation due to a loss of mobility required a change.
As someone who has visited well over a hundred care and nursing homes professionally I was always going to be picky about where dad lived. My family and I visited 7 local homes before choosing Manor House as somewhere we thought he would be well cared for, where he would feel at ease, where there were suitable opportunities for him to socialise and hopefully get the most out of whatever time he had left.
While dad's health and strength never returned sufficiently for him to take advantage of most of the facilities (the exception being the food, which he very much enjoyed and it was one of his last remaining pleasures) we believe he was very well looked after during his stay at Manor House.
While Manor House is undoubtably 'high end' in terms of design and furnishings, the true test of any care home is how well it meets the needs of its residents - in my dad's case, we could not have hoped for a more caring and competent team to care for him. My family is very grateful for that.

What a lovely home , i did a shift here with the agency the decoration is lovely, atmosphere is relaxed. The home has its own bar and shop for the residentsnts use which is full of quility stock and the staff are very friendly. Best home ive been to in a long time 🙂

Stunning facade.... Former Waldenheath nursing home revamped a few years back.
Not been in the building so unable to offer more than 4 star rating.
