I went here around a month ago because I had an ear infection and got seen really quick by the triage nurse and then wasn't long before I saw another nurse who gave me a prescription for antibiotics 💊 probably best going at night because less people are in then and you won't have to wait as long 🙂

Staff are friendly enough and reasonably quick triage however, you'll be pushed behind anyone foreign.
As soon as anyone Romanian,Somalian etc comes in you'll be behind them.
Fact.

Staff are lovely and caring had to wait a bit but was worth it for the high level of treatment I received. I was shown more compassion from the male receptionist than I have from my own doctors. Overall great experience.

7 weeks ago (date of visit) I was really looked after by the staff here, especially the Dr who diagnosed me, she was lovely. I was seen within an hour of having my x-ray and was booked into the fracture clinic which is due next week.

These guys work really hard, so thank you for looking after me so well ❤️

Andy in triage was amazing. Went above and beyond. I was there for 20 mins total and out the door with appointment at the hospital for 30 mins later to get sorted. Without his help I’d have likely been sat there waiting for hours. Top bloke. Really cared for my situation.

Poor triage.
We went with my son with Elbow pain & Ankle pain.
The woman nurse at the Triage was incompetent. She did not even examine the Ankle, I even asked her but she said not needed. My boy was in his shoes.
So we left the place & went to Whiston A&E saw at least 3 other patients from Millennium centre came over there. So it's not just us, it's a systemic problem.
Kudos to Whiston Hospital, they did initial Triage, did X ray and examination.

I was told there would be a 2.5 hour wait. The place was absolutely packed.
I was sat in a chair, with an ear that felt like it was ready to explode, shivering, falling asleep, in absolute agony. 2 hours into my wait I noticed a young girl walk in, kicked off because she had to wait and got seen ten minutes after arrival.
I get that everybody is stretched but just because somebody can't control their temper, they should be seen immediately. If she's able to kick off, she's able to go untreated. The nurse was great, the morals of the public are ridiculous
