I would like to share my success story with you all and say a big thank you to the Amazing Movement Project Penryn. Something I have always been blown away by is the friendliness of all of the other members and the knowledge and expertise of all the staff there. From day one everyone was welcoming and friendly, they all remembered my name and made me feel not only welcome but like I was part of their community straight away. I joined the movement project in oct 2023. I have been size 14-16 for over 20 years. Initially I did 2-3 classes using the lowest weights possible. With the help and encouragement of Stu and Kathryn and others in the classes I gradually saw myself getting stronger. By April 2024 I had found the classes that I could fit into my life and started attending 3-5 classes a week and by mid May 2024 I fitted into size 12 jeans! I actually can’t believe how much stronger and fitter I am and how quickly it happened. I could not recommend the movement project highly enough.

I Love going to The Movement Project.
The instructors are really friendly, know their stuff and have helped me to increase strength and general fitness.
Having never lifted weights before and feeling nervous of the gym environment, coming to TMP has completely changed my mind on working out in a gym environment.
There is a great balance of classes and class times. All the other gym users are friendly and as a newbie, so not always knowing what equipment I needed or how to put things together, have found everyone to be really helpful. The gym has a feeling of all being part of a team .
Small group sizes means that you get really useful feedback from the instructors to help
You progress and achieve .
There is no heavy pressure to do anymore than you want to, more of a guiding hand to encourage you to develop your own skill set. If you have been thinking of joining a gym, you should 100% come along. You won’t regret it

Stu at the Movement Project is a complete expert in his line of work and how the body moves and responds ! He explains all
aspects of how the body works during my rehabilitation. He quickly found the root cause of my issue and worked with me and my core movement to regain strength. The gym itself is looking fantastic. I cant recommend The Movement Project enough!!

This is a great concept and so much better than a standard gym set up. Stu and the other instructors are very knowledgeable and supportive, and they do a great job of creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You'll end up doing more than you thought you could. It really does feel like a community that goes beyond keeping fit and mobility. Good job, carry on!

Right from the start my experience at The Movement Project has been a positive one. Stuart creates an incredibly welcoming and inclusive environment and is absolutely brimming with knowledge and enthusiasm. He gave me an initial movement assessment so I felt that my injuries and goals were considered and subsequently more confident to join the classes. The
Club is conveniently located with easy parking. The unique Kin stretch that Stuart teaches has really brought my injuries on. The spin studio is top quality and to top it off other members are super friendly. Stuart has created a real community here! Highly recommended

I would highly recommend The Movement Project to anyone who wants to exercise thoughtfully and learn more about functional fitness. The space is great, Stu has fostered a very friendly welcoming atmosphere - a welcome tonic from some ‘clicky’ gyms. The classes are varied and fun, whilst also being challenging. I would also recommend Stu for movement assessment - after finding myself with a hip impingement I am now able to start my main hobby of long distance running again pain free. Stu was hands on very quickly (not in a creepy way, I felt very comfortable) and was able to identify the problem and also solutions, as well as giving me specific exercises and advice. Thanks so much!
