Stunning venue Sam and the team at Northorpe made our day perfect! The character of the place is unmatched and was everything we wished for for our evening wedding. The fairy lights lit up the barn and the place felt so warm and comfortable throughout the chilly autumn day! Everything we wanted for our day was not a problem, and we were left with full creative freedom to decorate as we wished, and celebrate our wedding in our own relaxed, fun and informal way. Thank you so much again to the team!

My wife and I got married at the Northorpe Barn at the end of September, and we are so glad we did! As soon as we saw the place and met Sam, we just knew it was the right venue for us. It looks great when all set up. Sam and the team were super organised and accommodating of our requests in the lead up to the big day. This gave us a lot of confidence on the day and meant we could relax and enjoy it. The food was also great and went down well with our guests. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Northorpe Barn to anyone!

Our Wedding Day at Northorpe Barn was perfect. We took the 'Prep and Party' option so we were able to decorate the barn ourselves the day before and have a lovely afternoon tea. The venue is fabulous in its own right so really doesnt need much decoration. Whilst decorating and on our wedding day nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Sam was amazing, she took detailed notes in the run up to make sure our day ran smoothly which it did and was more than happy to fulfil personalised requests for food/drinks. We would highly recommend you take a look at this venue

We arrived to check the venue as a possible wedding site.. suffice to say, the booking has been made.. beautiful 17th century barn with a solid and cozy feel about it.. all amenities on site and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable.. take a look.. you won't be disappointed!

Everyone couldn't do enough for you and the venue is absolutely beautiful. The food is insane as well! They made planning the whole day stress free with the knowledge and kindness of the team. We had our perfect wedding at Northorpe Barn in August 2024 after first viewing the venue in October last year, and were beyond thrilled to see the results of many months of planning come together.

From our first viewing, we thought the barn was absolutely stunning and decided to take a "less is more" approach to decoration. The barn really does speak for itself, and recent renovations to the upstairs and outdoor areas have only enhanced the space. Unlike some other venues we viewed, the barn is impressive without being overly formal. It is charmingly rustic and cosy yet open and spacious. We immediately knew it could provide the more relaxed experience we wanted, which was reflected in our food selections of a hog roast and Mexican street food, both of which were a hit with our guests. There were options to cater to every taste, and the barn could easily provide a more formal experience if desired.

Working with our wedding planner, Sam, was both a breeze and a pleasure. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with her. Sam was always enthusiastic about our ideas and did everything to accommodate our requests and the requirements of our other vendors. She was so helpful, knowledgeable and personable. We felt no pressure at any stage and were provided with a clear timeline of what needed to be done. The closer we got to the wedding, Sam ensured that we were more and more excited for the big day (rather than apprehensive!). Both while planning and on the day Sam's experience was evident; on the day there was a hiccup with one of our vendors which was swiftly and discreetly resolved. Everything ran smoothly and was so well organised yet felt really natural and not as though we were sticking to a timetable or needed to rush anything. She kept checking in with us without it feeling at all intrusive (making sure the bride got a drink!) and took particular care of our elderly relatives.

We weren't able to set up the day before due to another wedding at the venue, but the staff took such care to set everything up exactly as we wanted, right down to the most minute details. It was magical walking into the space on the day and it looked even better than we ever imagined! All our guests have been so complimentary of our wedding, the venue and helpful staff.

We are extremely pleased to know that proceeds from events at the barn support the activities of the Northorpe Hall Child and Family Trust, which provides help to children, young people, and families.
