Lovely place, first time visit for myself & toddler meeting a few other mums. Very family friendly. Spacious, room for pushchairs and highchairs provided, parking on site, baby changing facilities and children's menu.
Very friendly welcoming and efficient staff. Coffee was delicious and the breakfast was very enjoyable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return when we're next in the area. Thank you!

Found this place by accident and it was great. The food was lovely, had the vegetable soup and sour dough bread and it very warming on a cold day. Hubby had coronation chicken sandwich which was triple sandwich and there was no scrimping on the fillings and he was very happy. It added a little something extra to have a little wander round the wagons through time and then the prison cells. Definitely a different eatery experience. Would recommend

The cafe is beautiful, throughout and very welcoming. The food was just brilliant and the staff were incredibly flexible with my husband's requests. We felt very well looked after and valued as customers.
We would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Food was very expensive as you would expect but it wasn’t the tastiest. We had a scone with cream and jam, plus slice chocolate cake.

But you can see the old prisons for free.

Very unique venue. Nice and airy restaurant with a reasonable menu. Prices are a tad high, but the quality is reasonably good. Only complaint is the bacon I had was very fatty.

We stopped in on our way back to London, we saw the signs and were intrigued. We had brunch, there were plenty of tables free on Saturday midday, with quick turnover of customers. We had jam and cream scones which were delicious and fresh, with shakshouka & eggs benedict, both were well presented and delicious. Would recommend both. The coffee could be improved, but I am aware I have extremely high standards. It’s also made too hot.
