The original concept of the open kitchen
Was brilliant .it was a place to go and sit relax eat meet people and at the end no bill to pay .
Unfortunately covid took that a experience away and now the concept of somewhere to go and feel the Dignity is gone.
What is left is a great place and does amazing things for the people but I'm afraid it has become what we all know
To be a food bank .

Bring back the OPEN KITCHEN the knives and forks and all the cutlery cups of tea sometimes puddings at least once a week
To have that warmth from other human beings and most of all the DIGNITY .

I think this is a brilliant idea! I just went in to donate some food I had left from a BBQ. I hate to waste food so if people on here want to donate, do it! The guys were really appreciative and helped me carry everything in. I had a brief look around, the place is clean and welcoming. It's not just for poor or homeless people but if for whatever reason you don't have money food you can come here. It's OPEN! If this place does well Muslim Hands will be able to open more and so I think we should support this place as much as we can.

The kitchen is extremely poor. No food and no drinks for diabetic people. They should prepare some financial support for Muslims who need it.

I had the opportunity to see what The Open Kitchen offers and I had no idea of the great work they are doing for the community. They provide essential hygiebe items, clothing as well as hot meals and breads, fruit and salad. Hats off to the volunteers and Ehsan Choudhry for their efforts to help the community. May they be rewarded for their efforts.
