We hired out the village hall for our wedding reception and I cannot recommend enough! We initially spoke to Dawn in January this year who was fab and then Rob took over a few months later who was equally brilliant. They answered all my questions and made sure everything was perfect for us on the day and checked up to see if we had everything we needed when setting up. The bar staff were fantastic and the team as a whole made sure we had the drinks we wanted too. 10000% recommend if you want a Cotswold event in a gorgeous little village.

We hired the hall for a winter celebration. A good 50 people attended. A lovely buffet, a live band, a skittle alley, and a bar. A raised area at the back of the hall, provided somewhere to get off the dance floor and out of the dining area to just watch the events. Excellent venue, everyone agreed that we had a fantastic evening. The toilets, bar, and main hall were all easily accessible. The only steps were to get onto the stage or to the raised area at the back of the hall. Several members of the party have mobility issues, and access was perfect for them.

Lovely cafe with a selection of cakes, scones, paninis and soup on offer. Expect to pay around £10 per person for food and a hot drink. Nice atmosphere and in a good location in the centre of Painswick. Limited free parking at the site, more accessible (and free) parking at the main Stamages Lane car park just on the other side of the famous Painswick Church.

Wonderful spot!! Local arts and kind local people serving good fresh cafe fare below galleries and with a nice performance space in back. You must stop by if visiting the village!

Friendly staff, nice tea and coffee, but the food was average and over-priced. Our £7:15 cheese paninis almost totally lacked cheese (I think they were running out of ingredients), and our £2.50 flapjacks were small and soggy. They refunded one of these without querying, which we appreciated. Also, though the servers on the day we visited were very nice, they were chaotic, forgetting orders and getting confused.

It was a cold and very wet day. We received a warm welcome and were served a delicious lunch taking account of our particular dietary needs.
