I have recently finished 2 weeks here and it was brilliant. The staff cannot do enough to help you recover.

From the first day arriving with the introduction and tour to seeing the birlliant nursing team to meeting your physio and getting a plan in place. The one thing I'd say is to get your name down for classes as they can book up quickly, especially the 8am pilates.

You can start your day at 8am with pilates and end at 8pm after the relaxation session or take it easy the whole day. You get out of it what you want. For me I wanted to try everything. The upper and lower limb classes can be hard but you feel much better after them thanks to the extremely knowledgeable trainers they have. There are also classes on sleep and nutrition.

I was lucky enough to get Dan as my physio who was fantastic. My pain and reduced movement I had have got better and hope to continue what I was taught now I have left.

You will need to do plenty of classes / work out as when it comes to food you are spoilt by both quality and quantity.

I had never been to the treatment centre in 16 years. After just coming back today from two weeks I am kicking myself as why I didn't go sooner. After having a bad back for many years and a foot injury I went and OMG what a place.

The Harrogate centre had friendly staff where nothing was to much trouble. I had to change what I was eating last minute and the chefs did me a separate menu which was so tasty.

The physio I had was a student and he gave me different exercises to do on a daily basis.
There was different classes to try like pilates, yoga, spin. They also have a swimming Pool with sauna & steam room.

I definitely recommend going if you haven't been and are injured or have any wellbeing issues.

I attended as a retired officer following a very bad motorcycle accident. In 7 days I had more physio than in several months on the nhs. The facilities were first class and the staff were wonderful. I will be returning for further treatment in a few months. Most important of all it has given me the confidence to try new exercises at home and attempt to walk without my crutches.

I have now been to both Harrogate and Flint House. For me Harrogate is the better of the both. Staff are professional, friendly, caring. All skilled and trained in there subjects.
The free treatments are amazing and a nice touch.
Being from the South. I'm going to say it Northerners are very friendly and accommodating people.
The only bonus of Flint House is the surrounding countryside.
I think Flint House however, could learn from Harrogate in regards to there welfare programme, and how to treat people.

Attended in February 2016 for two weeks to assist in recovery from back surgeries. Excellent facility with knowledgeable medical (physios) staff. I came away with the confidence that I can achieve more physically within my limitations. The donation I make on a monthly basis is a small price to pay for the treatment and facility's.

Unfortunately I have had to attend PTC for many years now.
The professionalism of the staff from physio's all the way down to the cleaners is second to none. The Physio department have kept me going
In between my surgeries and restored my faith in the human race.
St. Andrews is in a beautiful setting, and would aid many a malady and has done over the years. I give the PTC my full support and definitely
10/10.
