A stunning location for our mid ride tea stop this morning. A hidden gem in the tiny village of Winwick. The pavilion is a small hut at the entrance to the Winwick Hall grounds. Inside is a classy cafe serving all the usual drinks and food, including afternoon tea. The service was excellent. Our orders were promptly served at our table close to the perimeter wall facing the 1850 grand house. The tea room seems to only be open for a short time in the week. In fact, it's Sundays only and not for much longer this year. It's the classiest tea room that our cycling club has visited, and we'll be sure to visit again next year.

This is a really lovely tea room. Nice selection of cakes and teas and coffees. You can sit inside or outside. Beautiful views of the garden and huge Manor House. There are also peacocks roaming around. They have various events here and we went to the open air cinema and fireworks. It was a great event. Only issue with the non intelligent security people walking around with very bright torches, oblivious as they shone them in people’s faces.

Open during May to September is a beautiful hidden gem. We came for afternoon tea and this 0lace did not dissapoint at all! The staff were helpful and friendly, and the afternoon tea was plentiful, homemade, and delicious. Lots of food to share. A perfect hidden tea room. Advanced booking is recommended and there is not much room for lively children.

Had a beautiful afternoon tea at the tearoom today - perfect sandwiches (properly filled with delicious ham/egg/cucumber), tasty sausage roll, perfectly light scones and sponge cake. Everything was freshly made and attractively presented. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing - will definitely be back - highly recommended

We have just enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at The Polo Pavilion, Winwick. Afternoon tea was absolutely lovely and the Winwick 'fizz' was every bit as good as anything I've had in France. I am a Coeliac and was therefore treated to an excellent selection of home made gluten free fare. The setting is beautiful and I can recommend it to anyone looking for an afternoon of old world delight.

Delicious cakes, scones and tea. You must book in advance, we still managed to order from the cake stand, it was a delightful experience and there are peacocks in the grounds to view afterwards. Take an umbrella as indoor seating is limited.
