Great shop, so much stuff! You'll definitely find something you didn't know you needed! Christmas merchandise is amazing, and there is loads to choose from. Went in for a curtain rail, and I came out with a Christmas Gonk! 🎄 staff really helpful and pleasant, and on hand around the shop which is a nice surprise these days! Recommended definitely.

The store is well laid out, with the majority of items easy to find, there's also a popular restaurant on site which is a nice touch.
Generally the staff are very helpful however, on one particular visit the manager on the night shift just made you feel like they didn't want to be there at all, they really were reluctant to help which didn't exactly set a good example for the other staff, but credit to them they were all helpful where possible.
The variety of products throughout the store is very useful to have in a store so close by, myself and my partner visit fairly regularly and this is usually one of the first places we think to visit when we need something.

I found a lot of the items on the shelves scratched or slightly damaged so couldnt buy everything i wanted. I also don't think this particular store has such a good variety of products as others. The staff also need customer service training. I understand the staff are young but they need to be able to
say hello and explain what's happening if there is a problem. As we got to the till there was an issue with our servers till. Instead of explaining that he just shouted over us to another person to get the manager and then put his head down and looked at the floor while we waited several minutes for the manager to attend. It was a little uncomfortable. The manager then attended and didn't acknowledge us either then he walked off and left us with another uncomfortable wait. Then finally when the till was working the chap serving us mumbled so much we couldn't hear what he was saying

Only gave one star because I can't give none. We went to the so called improved cafe at the Somercotes store today, and the staff were surly and indolent with a couldn't care less attitude. The food was awful and not edible. I had a cheese toastie which was only toasted on one side. When I sent it back the assistant was less than accommodating and it came back no better. Consequently I did not eat it and walked out. Needless to say I will not be making the mistake of going there again

Decided to visit this store after being told it stocks more than my local Derby store and indeed it does. There is a cafe and Iceland food store all under the same roof. The choice of homewares is very good and there is also an upstairs with gazebos and BBQ equipment to satisfy any budding cook. Access for wheelchairs is good at the front of the store and a spacious lift to get to the mezzanine. Sadly though as in all "the range" stores they have the isles to close together.

Nice big store, has a great range of christmas items, was really busy when we went, however didn't have to wait long to be served. Plenty of staff around the store to ask for help if needed

Busy, but staff were patient with me and gave me good information about decorating my spare room. Bought a couple of items which go very well in there.
